“Hey, let’s make it a game.”
We had just stuffed ourselves with chips and salsa and a botana at a Detroit Mexican restaurant that was new to me. Brian is always looking for ways to make life fun, and we were both riding pretty high on the idea that we had eaten a filling meal with a check totalling about $8. INCLUDING the tip.
Where else could we find a meal for $10 or less? It became a quest, a mission, largely because we would rather dine out than cook. Well, I would.
To make the game more interesting, we added some criteria for inclusion in our $10 or Less list. So if you would like to play, here are the rules:
1. No fast food.
2. Meals must be substantial and filling.
3. Bill is for the meal, excluding taxes, tip and beverages.
